No degrees are required. Yes you do need a lisence.
Even though they’re not required, you should look into doing a course on Animal Management/Business Management.

The two items i’m looking at are about the same price. The 3 in 1 pet stroller basically is a kennel with wheels and can act as a car seat. So, stroller, kennel, and car seat all in one. The other is just a regular kennel. I was just wondering if the pet stroller is going to do me any good? Do other people buy it for their pets?
The only reason I would consider getting the stroller is because I’m pregnate at the moment and can not lift heavy items. Therefore, the stroller can actually help me out by holding the kennel for me and me just pushing it to where ever.
Which one would you choose? Would the stroller be of any value to me after my baby is born? Would my pets actually get sick in the stroller? Please share, thanks!
The stroller would be practical as it encompasses all things. However, can you use it after your baby is born? How can you push a puppy stroller and a baby stroller? But if say your husband is going to push one stroller while you push the other then go for the stroller. It is a better value and because it doesn’t move real fast most pups do not get motion sick in it.
I am friends with a young married couple who are going to be away this weekend on their first anniversary. They asked me to watch their pets (1 full grown cat and a 4 month old puppy). The catch is, they want me to stay at their house during the weekend so the pets will be able to be out of their kennels for most of the day.
My question is: what would be a fair rate for looking after the animals while living at their house for the weekend? I wouldn’t really worry about it so much if I was just looking after the pets. But, I live quite a ways outside of town, so I wouldn’t be able to go back to my house over the weekend.
The places around here charge something like $15 for a visit. It’s going to depend on your area. For staying there and handling a puppy, I’d say at least $30/day since you will be staying there.
More if it means other costs, like meals, will be higher than if you were at home.
If we had a house sitter I’d be willing to pay like $25/day.

They run the house while I am at work and are treated great! But I have 3 which as you can assume causes a problem. I am wondering if I get a commercial kennel licence if this will solve some of my problems?
I feel the number of dogs a person should own should be by the number they are able to care for properly. Now the real issue would be who decides what each person could handle? I have seven dogs and right across the street is a different township. They are only allowed two. You wouldn’t believe how many try to turn me in out of jealousy. The game warden and I are on a first name basis. He doesn’t even come anymore, he just tells them I dont live in the same town. The reason these laws are put in to place is people dont care for their dogs and it became necessary to make rules without singling certain people out. People are the problem not the dogs.
Do they measure their dog carrier to make sure it’s the right dimension or do they just glance at it. ( I have a Sherpa American Kennel Club Pet Carrier and it’s 1inch over in length so i’m worried) Also do they weigh the bag? If so how much should the bag weigh.
Also Will they sit there and see if my dog can stand up and turn around
With the weight im asking if it weighs over a certain number will they charge more
They must, by airline standards, check all these things.
And if the carrier does not comply they will insist on cargo shipment for the animal. And if the animal does not fit the carrier they can refuse to fly it for liability reasons. Can’t have Fluffy croaking in the cargo compartment because the carrier was too small and stressed him to death. Then the owner would have no option but to sue them – and 99% would do just that.

I just got back from a big game safari and smuggled a wildebeest cub through customs in one of my socks but I can’t work out what they eat and how to train them.

Try the grass and stick method of training, you offer it the grass and if it doesn’t do as you want threaten to tw@t it one with the stick

I went to the pet store to buy a prong collar and I couldn’t help but notice a very large German Shepherd sitting in one of the kennels. Reading it’s info card, it stated that the dog was 11 months old! It had been in the store for 8 months. If no one ever buys the dog what will happen to him/her?
Decrease the price, sell it at a dog auction, transfer it to another pet store…
