No, but this kids video game allows them to play as a veterinarian in a clinic and to use the Wiimote and nunchuk controllers to diagnose pets like cats, dogs, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. Although the game suffers from clumsy controls and sub-par graphics most young children probably won’t care. Pet Pals does not have flamethrowers, shrink rays or plasma autorifles, but it does have bandages, heart rate monitors and medical tools! While pet sitting in Scottsdale, often times we are able to get pets to interact with us even when they are known not to. In this case, we sat on the floor for a few minutes, sprinkled some “peace offerings” (aka treats) on the floor and waited. Our patience paid off as Lucy came out from under the bed and actually let us pet her. In this clip, she is even letting us BRUSH her. Look at her adorable face at the end!!!
